What could they have done better?
Are there certain aspects of the site that would appeal visually?
Are there certain aspects of a competitor site that has helped them in organic SEO?
In today’s age of fast food and high speed Internet, a business may be tempted to take the more convenient route when launching a website which is buying a template and customizing it.
Website design templates are like off the shelf websites and are targeted at people who believe that launching their own, unique and differentiated website is costly and time-consuming, which need not be the case.
When people visit your website, you want them to get a feel for your brand and feel comfortable doing business with your company. If they see that you have the same Web design as 100 other websites, they may come up with some unfavorable impressions about your business. One impression might be that your business is not doing so well and you could not afford to get a unique website design. Another might be that you are not willing to put forth the money you need to make your business spectacular. Both of these are negative impressions and will not help you keep visitors coming back to your site.
Web Design Templates Can Sometimes Be Difficult To Use.
If you have bought a design template, the template may have some items that you want to get rid of. If you do not know anything about website designing, you may have a difficult time removing those items. Removing a piece of code may cause the website to no longer work properly or may leave your site looking awkward. If it does not work like it is supposed to is not good for business.
Having a lot of useful information on your site is great, but people cannot find that information if they have to use difficult menus and navigation. Some Web design templates are very complex and are not created for business purposes.

Some free templates are designed by people who are getting started in the Web design business and are practicing their talents. Since these templates are often practice designs they sometimes use clashing colors and inappropriate fonts and these are just some of the characteristics that make these templates a bad idea to use.
Your website needs to have a clean layout. Using an unattractive website design can lead visitors to believe that you do not want to spend the time or money to create a good site.
Remember, Branding yourself and your business does not have to be expensive or fancy it just has to be effective.
You have beautiful templates here. I have been looking for a template for a gift site and a baby site for the longest time and I have yet to find one that I like. I have only found two free templates so far and I was not impressed.
