If you are going to do content marketing you have to understand that your content has to connect with folks who are interested in what it is you are doing or selling.
And of course you want it to rank high in the search engines. So this means that we have to look at this like a chess game. Each content platform is a different piece on the chess board and can be used to accomplish different things.
A lot of companies are experts at only using one or two types of content marketing platforms. But they are incredibly effective at using those platforms. Others use all kinds of platforms but never get what they could out of them.
The platform you decide to use will of course have a lot to do with the kind of business you are running.

It has become apparent to “me” (not necessarily everyone else) but when certain people find it awkward that companies are marketing Obama commemorative merchandise like coins, people just retort with the freedom of capitalism. Isn’t it just a little premature to be making coins and mentioning holidays for a man that was only elected and has not run in office yet? Should we not base his character on his actions but on his ethnicity and physical appearance?
I’m in charge of creating a content marketing campaign at my company, and I am trying to think of the best way to distribute our initial content to B2B sales prospects.
We have some names and phone numbers of people who we are targeting, but ideally we would like to get their email addresses, which are generally not published online or in directories.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can obtain these email addresses?
Today, we see DLC in the form of alternate costume(Street Fighter 4), extra multiplayer maps, unlockable characters, unlockable weapons, unlockable cars, bonus missions and even game ending (Prince of Persia). If you didn’t notice these contents were given to us for free after completing some missions in the game in last generations of gaming consoles. But now, game developers already start to act smart. We need to pay with real money to unlock those contents.
These are the DLC that I can see in the future :
- You need to pay for changing the game difficulty. Only Very Easy mode will be available in the retail copy. Normal and hard mode will be released as DLC where you need to pay to unlock those difficulties.
- You need to pay for changing the screen brightness and sound volume in the game option.
- You need to pay for vibration support of the controller
- You need to pay by using real money just to buy items in the game store. Example : In Gran Turismo, you need to collect in game currency to buy cars. But in the future, Maybe Gran Turismo 6, you need to pay with real money to buy those cars. In the future, There will be no such thing as in game currency. You need to pay with real money to buy any in game items.
- Online play also will be part of DLC. You need to pay to unlock the online mode which is already available in the game.
- The retail game which is $ 60(may be $ 100+ in the future) is only playable in the first 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the game will suddenly pause and ask you to enter your credit card number to pay another $10 to add another 30 minutes to the gameplay.
- You need to pay to watch the cutscene.
I can see this in the future of gaming if we(gamers) still support those ridiculous DLC. The government should make a law that prohibited those greedy game developers from releasing DLC before 1 year the game is released. During the 1st year, all the DLC should be free. After 1 year the game on the market, it is alrgiht to charge for the DLC. This will prevent game developers from abusing DLC.
These are things that I can see happening to DLC. What can you see in the future of DLC in gaming ?
Thanks for your time.
Hi,
I am confused when it comes to content marketing in Yahoo
1 Does Yahoo have alternate report as like “placement report” Adwords ?
2 Which one is best “content adgrouph targeting” or “content Campaign Targeting”?
3 To show my ads globally, do I need to be set up separate account for each country as there is no country bundle in yahoo as adwords has [Only US and Canada shown]?
Best regards,
Just started a marketing company and need HELP writing content about who we are, what we do, and why to chose us.
We specialize in the following marketing fields: Internet, Social, Network, Relationship, Strategic, Viral, Mixed. We also do Event Planning and PR
THANKS!
Ok, so it is obvious that spun content on one’s website is a no-no.
But it is ok to spin an article and then publish it on multiple article directories?
Not like 1000 versions, but let’s say about 20-30 of properly spun articles, something readable.
Can Google penalyze for that or even know about it?

I really want to make some extra money working from home and am interested in learning Internet marketing. I currently stay at home with my two little kids but would be able to devote about 25 hours a week to Internet marketing. It’s just that I don’t know where to start. Where do I find some great resources that help me with the Internet marketing basics as all the websites I have come across are not for absolute beginners like me?

If i am using a content management system to run my website and decide to hold data in its database in order to run a password protected area, what if any data protection considerations do i need to take into account? The data held will be Email, First Name and Surname, and of course username and password.

I’m thinking about starting a new business in the adult entertainment industry. However, the industry seems to be suffering from a pullback in revenues among a lot of companies out there vying for their piece of the pie.
I have: 1) All the video and computer skills necessary, as well as all the equipment. 2) Probably one of the best looking girls out there today, willing to be involved and appear in shoots. 3) Access to other girls to fill the site with content. 4) Startup capital.
My main goal is to run a profitable business. I’m not as interested in the sexuality side of things because I already have someone I’m married to. I just want to make money producing and selling adult videos online and/or marketing in a few other ways.
Would you get into this business right now? If so, why? If not, why not?
In the hopes of avoiding canned “my first business” responses, I should make people aware that this would be my 3rd company. I sold my other two.

I have been trying to promote my site for sometime now and I seem to be going nowhere. I’ve tried several social media marketing products and seek the services of the “experts”, but nothing seems to work. Now, I am just wondering what social media marketing products I can use to promote my website?
Whats the difference? and how do i implement it into my business ?

I enjoy television but I fear that the content is geared toward marketing. I think it would be foolish to put much stock in theories that televison programming has any political agendas but I could see it being designed around marketing pushes. I would like to think this is an overly cynical view however. Comment?

Called to see how much a local precious metals shop pays for gold. He said ’70% gold content of spot value’. I’m sure spot value is whatever the market value is today. However, what’s the percentage of gold content? Does that mean, since 18k is 58% gold content, then that buyer would pay 70% of that 58%? So, 40% of market spot? How’s this translate?

As far as i know there are tons of old outdated and abandoned websites and even more articles and websites that are written solely for SEO and internet marketing purposes. Does anyone have an estimate about the percentage of legit content vs. fake / outdated / duplicate content?
Anyone know where I can get free or royalty free internet marketing content to use on my website I am designing???
I created content for a not for profit as a volunteer. I did not have a contract as an employee, however I did serve on the Board. Do I own it? I never signed it over. I’m talking about power point slide decks and written marketing and policy content.
I have to run ad marketing campaigns and was wondering where can I add adult content for blogs.
I’ve only been working at my current job for 9 months. It started off as an internship, but after a couple of months it became a paid position at £6.08 per hour for 27 hours per week. I’m in my second year of studies for a bachelors in Web Technologies. My contract is about to be extended at my job, but I no longer feel I’m being paid enough. Though I am below Entry Level (no degree yet), I have already gotten a great deal of experience. I want to know what is a decent amount per hour to go for when I have my meeting in a few weeks. Any suggestions? I was thinking along the lines of £8 – £10 per hour.
I’m about to graduate college (a semester early) & am pursuing a part time position as a Social Marketing & Web Content Consultant for a non-profit – what kind of hourly rate should I expect/ask for?
Hey guys, Im starting my own internet marketing so hopefully in the long run I can be successful. What steps do you think I should take? I will be affiliating for a major company; however, I have seen others who are also publishing for others on there website I think. What is the publishing part?

My company is planning to take up training for our staff online, a different approach to the contemporary off line seminars. I would like to know whether any websites out there can help us in delivering best content and trainers on sales, marketing, time management, prospecting, etc,. and how long these web seminars lasts? what’s the price they are going to charge to attend these trainings?
I see a lot of different people peddling a lot of different things. Should I go with pay per click ads? Should I enlist the aid of a url submit service? Do I need to hire an SEO or other type of marketing company? I don’t have a big budget so I’m not sure what to do. Thanks!
