As a matter fact the art and science of SEO actually works because of content. When your web visitors land on your website content is what they see as the most important part of that website. There is nothing on your website that will influence a purchase more than the content.
You can have the best looking website in the world but weak content with misspellings and bad grammar will lose you the sale. While you can have an ugly website with awesome well written content and it’ll win you the sale.
Your content not only talks to the website visitor but it also talks to the search engines. If your content doesn’t tell Google what its topic is about then Google will be left to try and figure out on it’s on.

Understanding content and how it works will prevent you from falling victim to high-priced SEO consultant, search marketing firms, or ad agencies. Don’t get me wrong there are some good firms out there but there are also those that over promise and under deliver.
