Whitehat SEO versus Blackhat SEO
It’s really sad the lack of understanding of black-and-white hats in the SEO community. The big difference in white hat and black is that a black hat will automate what he’s doing while the white hat will do it by hand.
With Whitehat SEO you get something that was handwritten and submitted directly to a bookmarking site, directory, blog, or other social media site and with black hat you take one article written for one of the social media sites and submit it to 10,000 other social media sites.
The big difference is that the white hat doesn’t look like spam and fits into the community and black hat fits into some of the communities but there are a lot of communities it doesn’t fit into.
However in the same amount of time you can get one link using white hat methods, you can get 10,000 using black hat methods. Of course you have to take into account the number of people that you’ve made mad using the black hat methods.
Personally I’d rather take my time and use white hat methods and get traffic, links and make friends versus getting lots of links, enemies and banned from some of the communities.

Myths and rumors abound on the being banned for cloaking issue, and five experts will probably give you six different answers … Well, here is mine: ……don’t be fooled by the hype!
Can your core web site get banned by the search engines for cloaking? If that was true, then your competitor could build some cloaked domains and point them to your primary web site so that it would be banned! Think of the damage that would be done if that was at all true. Not a very likely scenario, is it?
So can you really have your “cloaked” domains banned for cloaking? The answer is yes – if, for example, the search engines’ staff have manually checked and compared your spider content with what you are actually serving your human visitors. In a worst case scenario a human editor may come along to check the matter out.
On the other hand, it is highly unlikely that you will get penalized or banned unless some silly campaign build mistake has taken place. If a cloaking campaign is implemented professionally and with sound marketing techniques, your chances of being banned are minimal.
Note that I do NOT condone cloaking for misleading purposes: it is counter productive and will only serve to make life more difficult for all parties concerned.
So can cloaking be abused? Sure it can! But so are kitchen knives and painkillers. I for my part have never advocated misleading search engine optimization, if only because it’s dumb marketing. There’s no excuse in the world for misleading visitors like that and it certainly doesn’t seem to pay off either, which is why the SERPs is actually seeing less and less of such practises these days.
But let’s face realities here: while the search engines may take a strong-arm stance against cloaking in public, they don’t really seem to worry too much about it in everyday life, even if they state otherwise.
One of the reasons being that there’s so much legitimate cloaking about, it would simply be impossible to weed it all out. Else, you might well expect the world’s top 1000 web properties to disappear from the SERPs.
It’s quite important to realize this fact before fretting about the possible penalization of cloaking, as so many clueless SEOs are preaching, without a single tangible proof of what they’re claiming to know absolutely everything about.
For personal reasons, I’d like to move to Spain in the distant future. Living in Texas bores me so I want to get out and see the world. Currently I am 17, and have looked into living abroad permanently for the past couple of months. Spain first caught my eye for a plethora of reasons; its location in Europe which allows for traveling across the continent and to North Africa, my intermediate level of knowledge about the Spanish language, and Spain’s carefree lifestyle. Since I know some Spanish, I won’t be going in blindfolded because I’d be able to communicate efficiently with the local population. Being my last year of high school I have the luxury to take it easy and prepare for a cross-continental move. I need to establish funds to move and start a new life, further develop a skill set that will enable me to get a job, and improve my Spanish. I need assistance regarding quite a few issues:
How are American expatriates treated in Spain?
As a native English speaker is there a demand for us?
How long does residency, or citizenship take for an American? I assume it is easier if you are an EU citizen.
Is there a strong demand for jobs related to Internet Marketing, front end web development, or technology; and how long would it take my to get a job in this field? Currently I know HTML5, css3, some blackhat and whitehat SEO, and am in the process of learning Javascript, jquery, and php.
How much is the cost of living in Spain to live comfortably as a single male?
What is the process of acquiring citizenship? Can you explain it to me in detail?
Should I go to University in the states and put off moving for another 4 years? Is a bachelor degree from a top U.S. public school valuable in Spain?
Culturally, what are some things I must adapt to?
How is the party scene, and how is the issue of Marijuana treated?
Thank you.

I’m attempting to spin some articles in as many ways as possible to build links. Is it considered whitehat to translate it into many different languages?
this can be amazing! the tutorial is not difficult to comprehend
I have recently found that html sitemaps really help my overall indexing on my site, particularly when it comes to deeper site pages. I also notice that often the sitemap text seems to be used in place of my page title when it is more applicable in some searches. What I am wondering is if it is an acceptable practice to use varied phrases in the html sitemap, individual page title tags and urls to target people who might be searching for page topics in different ways. For example I have a math answers site in which people come to ask and answer math questions. I am considering establishing category pages for different math divisions i.e. algebra, trigonometry, etc.
As part of the site navigation could I use the phrase “Algebra Questions” in anchor text and then for the same page use the phrase “Algebra Answers” in the html sitemap text and then maybe one or the other or some combination or an entirely different phrase, something like “algebra help” in the actual page title tag?
All of these terms produce very different search results of course but I believe the page applies to all 3 quite well. Does anyone know if any problem google would have with this type of practice?

I received an email today showing me several
pieces of search engine optimization software
designed to generate traffic automatically
from high traffic sites like YouTube and
Craigs List.
My question is,”What’s makes something blackhat
as opposed to whitehat or ok?”
Here’s the sanitized email that raised the
question:

As you probably know, Willie Crawford is my marketing partner

Here’s the full story on this one:
A while back Willie asked me to review some stuff from
a fellow named Bishop Anders. Bishop has written a bunch of
software that’s … well, not exactly what you’d call “fancy
stuff”. In fact, it’s a bunch of fairly simple tools.
The thing is what you can DO with them!
The purpose of these tools is to generate free traffic to

To all u SEO guys and gals out there, honestly how much do u think it would cost to whitehat SEO 40 domains to rank in google 1-10 what do u think a good quote would be for this type of work.

okay, so i have this unique idea which can be used by SEO companies for online promotion. it’s not based on algorithms for optimization, rather a natural method implemented through a facebook page. how do i sell this idea without having it stolen?
serious answers only.
hi, i want to sell it to an seo company as a patent. plus, i don’t know what’ whitehat seo and whether mine will fall under the category. i think my idea is more of a deceptive type, for the users not for the clients.
